Christian Education at Grace
What is there for ME?
Christian Education is a life long process for each and every one of us. We begin with the stories of our faith at a very early age. We love the stories of Noah, Jonah, Mary and Joseph and the Baby Jesus. As we grow, our journey continues. Our youth begin at ask those tough questions about where God is in their lives. As adults, we continue to study, question, learn and grow in many different ways. Here at Grace, there is a place for YOU in Christian Education. Join us on the journey, whether a child, youth or adult. Come and celebrate as we grow in faith together.
January was an amazing month in Sunday School. There were more adults attending Sunday Morning classes than ever before. Thanks to our mini term teachers, Chris Jones, David Perry, Pat Fitzsimmons and Joan Jones. Mark your calendars now for another mini-term opportunity in May of this year.
Now that you are in that Sunday morning Sunday School routine, come and join a class in February. The Bible Discovery class meets in the Parlor, Bible 101 in the classroom off of Fellowship Hall and Alpha meets in the Fellowship Hall. Many folks in the “Parenting in the Pew” class have asked to begin another study on Parenting. We will meet in the conference room in the office. Join us on February 5 as we begin a new journey together.
Christian Education does not happen just on Sunday mornings. Catherine Edwards and Hunter Pope lead a wonderful bible study for adults each Sunday evening at 5:00p.m. Junior and Senior High Youth are involved in PYC and all children are invited to participate in “Growing in Grace” each Sunday from 5-6.
Special thanks to all of you that volunteered in our infant and toddler nursery and extended session. This ministry could not happen without all of you. If you would like to help in this special way, please see Joan Jones or Kelly Diehl.
The Christian Education Committee meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. God continues to call each of us to study, grow and share our faith. Now is the time to get involved.

ALPHA CLASS:
The Alpha Class is made up of adults that enjoy topical studies with lots of discussion and time for class interaction. This class is taught by Jeff Hamrick and offers study and fellowship each week!
BIBLE DISCOVERY CLASS:
The Bible Discovery Class meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Parlor. The teachers vary from month to month. If you are interested in a wonderful class that studies a great curriculum, give this class a try. We think you’ll agree that this class might just be the best kept secret at Grace!

The Bible 101 class is an ongoing study of both the Old and New Testaments. It is taught primarily by the pastor with occasional guest teachers.
PRESBYTERIAN 101
This class is taught two times a year and centers around what Presbyterians believe and why. It is also a time for new members and visitors to get to know a little about Grace, where we came from, and our vision for the future.
